Best way to connect VCR

Just got my new VCR... and it is faulty!!!

Anyway, I need to know what is the best way to connect it to my sky digibox and tv. Is the setup suggested in the manual the best?

It just deems a little clumsy that's all.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Scart from Digibox to RGB input on TV
Second scart from Digibox to VCR in, with third scart from VCR out to second scart input on TV.

Audio connections are dependant on whether you are using a DD TV or seperate amp.
