DVI to Component Connection - WOrks?

Hi
Has anyone experience of connecting from DVI on ATI AIW (or any other graphics card) to component (on a 36ZP48 ideally) using an ATI DVI convertor?
Did it work and was the quality as expected?

Cheers
S

i use ati's dvi-component adaptor on my 9600, works lovely. I'm running 1280x720 to my PJ through it until I've installed the dvi-hdmi lead I've bought. From memory ATI component adaptors come in two flavours - 1 uses the dvi, 1 uses vga ... thought the aiw cards used the vga type (they're not interchangable). could be talking rubbish ...

yup it works - these are compatible with

- ATI's ALL-IN-WONDER Radeon 8500
- ATI's ALL-IN-WONDER Radeon 8500DV

excellent picture quality - and not far off VGA IMHO

the DVI to component work with the 9600 up to the 9800 I believe..

The Radeon X700 and X800 cards have analogue component output, uses same jack that provides TV/s video output on normal ATI cards...

it works with more than that - those are the only AIW cards listed as supported though
