Best Recorder with a Co-ax Digital out?

I was almost decided on the Panasonic EH50 then found out that it only has an optical digital out. So, no problem I thought I'll just go for the Pioneer 433 - but that too only has an optical out.
Now I know you can get optical to co-ax converters - but my setup is messy enough I don't want any more junk behind the TV.

So what is my best & cheapest option. I want a cheapish multiregion recorder with a small hard drive and a co-ax digital out. I will mostly be backing up from SKY+ so built-in Freeview is not essential but I wouldn't complain if it came for free.

To me it looks like the Sony HX510 is the best one - but I welcome suggestions of current or future models for me to consider. I don't mind waiting a bit if a suitable machine is coming out in the next month or two.
