ello :)
I want to connect my Sound blaster live player 1024 to my av amp using the yellow minijack digital output.I have read that i need a MONO minijack to coaxial cable, is this correct?, if so where can i buy one online? I have searched but i cannot find one!
thx
Hope you can help
OK, i have one of these cards and use the digital output.
Personally i made a cable myself as it is impossible to find a 75ohm cable to suit.
What you need is a length of 75ohm cable a good quality mini mono headphone jack and a good quality rca connector oh and a soldering iron.
i assume you have used a soldering iron before so simply strip and solder the inner core to the central clamp and the outer wires to the uoter clamp then all you do is crimp and yur away.
that will give you a high quality digital speck 75ohm cable which you wont find anywhere else.
if that sounds like to much work just go to tandy and buy a single mono nini jack to single rca cable it will do the job but its a bit tacky.
hope this helps

This is a home cinema computer question.
Do a search for sound card and you should see plenty of related topics.

Faithless,
You just need a mono RCA to mini jack connector, then you can use a standard 75ohm digital coax cable. I have a spare 1, if you email me your address I'll send it to you.
