Sin City on DVD?

Just noticed at the top of this thread that Sin City is shipping on DVD,have details been released of all the different regions?

I seem to remember something about some versions having a lot of extras, directors cut,etc so dont want to get a copy only for a new and improved super duper version to be released in a months time

The only release being made available at the moment is a barebones release which contains the theatrical cut of the film and will probaley be the same on all regions.
There is talk of an Extended Edition DVD but there are no details regarding it and it could be months or years away yet.

Personally I like having both Theatrical and Extended Editions so have picked up the R3 release from CDWow for £11.99, I recieved it today and it comes with a Notebook and some postcards and will tide me over till the Extended Edition is released.

Yeah i was reading on IGN.com in there interview that robert rodriguez didn't get time to finish all his dvd extras (he filming sin city & spy kids "special edition" dvd extras together.) Dimension wanted to get it out quickly for piracy reasons.
All you get on this 1st edition is the theatrical version, a small 6 mins behind the scenes & dolby digital & DTS soundtrack.
Later on (prob christmas or early 2006) a new directors cut with 2 disc special edition is coming out.
Read the interview here !
I'm gutted at this and is one of the reasons i waited 4 years to buy lord of the rings!
By the way The DVD look amazing on my 37pv500.
