What refresh rate are you using?
What is your display device?

Region 1 should be played at a multiple of 24 fps - e.g. 72Hz

Have you tried NTSC at 72Hz?
Also does your monitor display the refresh rate being fed to it? If so what is it reading?

hi i'm using m e with windvd 2.1

when watching a film you dont tend to notice it but if you watch the time you can see it occasionally skip 2 seconds

i tried it last night on my plv30 and was really impressed with the picture,i slightly defocused so i did'nt notice the pixels
brilliant

A couple of obvious things to try; Check that graphic acceleration is set to full. Shut down any programmes running in the background. (CTL+ALT+DELETE) You could also try a different decoder. 'Power DVD' is available as a free download.
