photocomp outtakes...

took a load of photos for the comp, these are the ones that i didnt like as well as i should have!

beachcombing....

(although the more i look at it i like it more, tis a grower tis!)

and just to prove that i took a photo purposefully for the competition......

they looked good in my mind, but i couldnt pull them off in reality, which was a shame!

I really like the 1st one though the colours seem a bit off for some reason, great idea though. Even though you could get to a beach you still came up with something different

do you think? ive already put a picture in this month but i may consider changing it if people like the pictures.

the second one didnt capture my eye, it looked great in my head but didnt quite work after 30mins of scavenging for shells and seaweed! could have done with some some waves in the background but the sea was about 300m away, and some kids (my little sister) trashed it when i went for icecream!

And there was me thinking you were a dedicated photographer, and you left it for an icecream.

the aim was to take some pictures, then guard the scene (with my pitchfork) for the next 2 hours whilst the tide came in and then shoot some more....

i went to the icecream shop for 5 minutes leaving my little sister to guard it. she modified it while i was gone!

That's what little sisters are for mate, or little brothers for that matter. You tell them to leave it alone and as soon as your back is turned their mucking it up.

Seriously though, I think both of these out-takes look great. I prefer the comb one, like the brown-ness of the photo. But also think your red-sky at night entry is great too.
