Help with 2.5mm extension cable

Hi

Have recently bought the Nebula DigiTV PCI card, which I'm very pleased with. The only trouble is that the infra-red unit only has a lead that's only about 1m long, which is not long enough for where I was to position it (in another room).
The connection looks like a standard 2.5mm socket, but I'm struggling to find anywhere that stocks a 2.5mm extension cable, that's 5m long. Couldn't locate on Maplin, and have searched several shops.

Any ideas where I can find one?

Thanks

Harvest1

P.S. I presume extending this cable will still allow the unit to work.

I can't guarantee this is the right size jack wise but these people may be able to help

Scroll down to the bottom and you'll see they sell infra red extension leads for 5m and 3m.

If not they may have something else that helps
