I am wondering what gives a better sound quality, a RCA Coaxial Cable or Optical Cables?
I am buying a YSP-1 and trying to figure out how to connect the PC's sound to the YSP-1, and The speaker supports both the Coaxial and Optical inputs and so does my soundcard that can output on a Coaxial or Optical.
There is pratically nothing between them! In theory coax should be better on a short run as there is less conversion to the signal. Optical should be used on long runs though as it is not going to pick up any interference.
Mark.
