In my GTS set up I have numerous options to anti alias, buffering etc.

What are the ultimate settings for a pin sharp Power DVD or any other software DVD image on screen ?

Regards

Stewart,

These areas dont really make any difference. It is the Video Overlay commands that you want to set up.

You'll probably find a setting of 130% Brightness, 98-100% Contrast, 98% Tint and 100% Saturation will give you a good start.

Also decent cables that cut down on interference is an essential purchase imho.

Mr.D,

The Default Video Overlay calibration for the Geforce Cards do not present a decent picture on the Projector if left at default value.

The Slider default is 100% (confusing I know). To get a decent picture you slide the settings to the figures shown above. This was based on Scope testing in the AVS Forum.

The Overlay has settings unlike a normal TV so values over 100% are possible. Some people leave them as default and calibrate the Projector instead. However I have found this produces spurious colour results on my other components through the HTPC like dTV. This approach imho is better.
