Sony HS50 DVI input (not the old blanking issue)

Not sure if this should go in here or in the HCPC section but heay.

My problem is I've attached my HCPC to my HS50 via the DVI connection. I have had the firmware upgrade so the main blanking issue is solved. the problem is it's still pushing about 20 pixals all the way around, outside of the viewable area. This means when I'm on my decktop I can't see the start button, the close buttons in the top right etc.

Does anyone know a way to get the projector to show the whole screen through the DVI input?

I'm using the PC input for my 737 with cinematrix board so I can't really use that.

Cheers,
Stuart.

I had the same problem when connecting via DVi (mine also had the firmware upgrade). I connected by PC, and the only way to get the full desktop was to change the overscan settings in the nvidia graphics settings.

Actually in the end, I stoppped using DVI and went back to VGA. I think the vga picture is better, sharper and no borders. Sorry if this doesn't help - but for the best picture the vga PC input is best (in only my opinion of course).
