Pretty Bay, Birzebbuga, Malta
Taken from my hotel roof about two weeks ago (early Aug 05) with my Nikon D70.

The bright glare on the right hand side of the picture is a little offputting, it keeps drawing the eye away from the detail of the scene. Maybe a little PS work to reduce the flare or impact of it would help. Nice picture though :smashin:
I agree, it's the floodlights on the football court on the beach.
TBH, this was my first attempt at nightime photos (ever!) now that I have a half decent camera (Nikon D70 DSLR). I took several at various exposure settings and this was one of the best.

I'm doing that at the moment, trying loads of different settings and seeing what comes out best, mines not even a DSLR though, it's a compact :laugh:
I do like night time shots, agree about the flood light and whats that bottom left, a burger van? Mmmm burgers!
I would tend to adjust the white balance to give the street lighting a more white appearence other than yellow but thats just my preference :)
