I am thinking about getting one of these, Has anyone had there hands on one and what were there impressions?

It's a good camera, personally I'd look for an end-of-line D70 for a similar price.

Buy a D50 body-only IMO, the 18-55 kit lens is pretty average.

Apparently Play had a price error on their site for £270 for a while (body only) - funnily enough they didn't honour it...

Tell me about it - I took a punt on it at that price as a back-up body but they soon put the price up to £539.99
