I see Argos have an Alba radio for £39.99. Anyone got one of these?

Add to that - does anyone have decent DAB reception in mid sussex?
If it's the TRDAB2820 then I got one from WHSmiths about 3 weeks ago for £29.99 so might be worth you trying there to see if they have any left. It is excellent value for the money, though the speaker is a bit on the tinny side. Reception is excellent and is perfect wherever I have it in the house.
At least from Argos you can always take it back if you don't like it.

That is a good point and I can check what channels are coming in. On the post code search it doesn't look promising but that is the same as the one that tells me I shouldn't have been getting Freeview (Ondigital) for the last four years!

great little radio got one from tesco's yesterday,sound quality is very good build is very good as well,nice to listen to decent stations like radio 6 just before my eyes roll,downside no alarm or sleep mode which would have been good

Alba is bush, so I expect it would have the same electronics as a Bush.
Goodmans also is under the same name.

Just bought Alba DAB2821 from Makro paid £39.99 plus VAT
Considering the cost the sound quality is pretty good and radio also has FM as well.
