NW-HD5 transferring wma

Hi

I have just exchanged my broken creative zen touch for a sony nw-hd5 player. After much messing with (lameass) sonic stage I have transferred most of my wma files to the palyer. However, files that I have recently purchased and downloaded from MSN music UK (protected wma's) can not be converted. Does anyone know if it is possible to convert these files?

Thanks in advance

RC

It's complicated, but you need to burn your DRM WMAs to disc, then re-rip as WAVs or anything unprotected before transferring to your HD5. Long-winded, but doable ...

yes burning the WMA as audio CD, then importing to SS is the only way

Thanks Shadow & LFC.

This is a bit of faffing, but it does work. I'm finally getting to like my HD5 after the initial disappointment.

Cheers!
