I think we should ignore the poster who said there was a note in the box as looking back at his posts it would apear that he's only posted to promote a couple of websites. I will remove the links from the posts.

This is indeed the official link.

Guess they decided to release it early seeing as people were downloading from the Japanese server anyway.

Question Problem

Just trying to install this now and having downloaded the installer file and launched it the program identifies itself as the SonicStage v3.1 installer and tells me that I already have the latest version installed.

Has anyone used this link yet and do I just ignore that and continue or is the link pointing to the wrong file?

Edit - Just spoke to Sony and the official launch date is STILL next week although he suggested I keep an eye on it.

This installer file IS for v3.1 (although all the blurb says v3.2).

I reckon we'll see this available before next week.

Please someone post on here if they notice the change being made.

I am told (although I can't personally vouch for the source) that the v3.2 installer is 779K whilst the v3.1 installer is 766K so that should help identify it.

Edit 2 - They have now changed the link above back again to 3.1 (although the 3.2 link is still here ... albeit with an amended 3.1 banner, the 3.2 description and the 3.1 installer file).

Keanosmagichat, do let us know if you are able to transfer files with the new atracplus bitrates on to your HD5 once you get up and running. I have installed 3.2 myself from a link on the minidisc forums but my HD5 player won't arrive for a few days yet.
