Sub on or Sub off?

My sub has been switched on for the past couple of years without problem.

I've got two M&K active Subs and it says in the manual that you should leave them switched on all the time. Even if you're not using them.

Is this true?

How many of you leave them switched on?(when there not in use)

I would be interested in your views.

I have two subs which I leave on full time....for that matter I leave my Bass Shaker amps on all the time as well.

As I understand it, you cause most wear and tear to most things when starting and stopping them. Leaving them running is usually best for them.

So it looks like I will be leaving my Subs on from now on.

Electronics don't like it to heat up and cool down. Also, amps are more stable when turned on for a few hours so you might just leave em on. REL is even forcing people to leave their subs on, because they haven't included a turn-on delay. This will cause a loud boom when turning it on.
