Low height cabinets under plasma

Hi All,

Could you all experts give some idea where i get cabinets similar to this (see link below)

http://www.artisan-design.co.uk/modu..._with_tv_8.jpg

Not much to spent £200-£300 ish, looking into the options of IKEA Bonde side board, IKEA PS cabinet etc.

Suggestions please (preferably hi gloss white color)

Thanks in advance

Sunil

I have been looking for something similar as well!
Ruled out Ikea as it is a bit too cheapish looking.

Jali.co.uk seem to be the UK's cheapest custom cabinet maker.

A guy on the TiVocommunity UK general Chit Chat forum recommends them:

Sunill,

Have a chat with a local cabinet maker. You will be surprised what can be put together at low cost. Have a look at my cabinet which I had custom made and you will see what I am talking about. Entertainment cabinet help please

Pembertos cabinet is nice and great value, but I decided to go for something a bit more stylish so got an ex-display Bo Concept cabinet which I have removed the back of and I will add metal braces to strengthen it.
This holds 20 components.

I will also get a Habitat sideboard to house another 10 components and put everything on castors so they can be easily moved and accessed.

So about 900 pounds total.

I suppose a custom job would have been about 1100.

Here's the cabinet with my unused equipment in (mostly old American TiVos from 1998).

After we re-decorate I will move my main kit (mostly UK TiVos) into it.

The sideboard and plasma will set next to this tall cabinet as my wall is only 3m and I would need a 4m long sideboard cabinet to hold all my kit.
So a 2 unit solution was necessary.

Besides which anything over 2.1m would have to be carried up 10 flights of stairs as it won't fit in the lift!

I use about 6 TiVos in the summer, and 8 to 10 in winter.
I don't watch a lot of TV - it just that it gives me better choice than cable, satellite, Homechoice combined. I guess I have about 600 to 1000 programmes I want to watch at any moment in time.

I left them recording for the last 7 years so there are loads of stuff for me to watch.

In reflection it takes me about 3 years to get round to watching stuff.
By that time the DVD has already come out and its on sale.
However, at least I have the OPTION of watching a lot of TV.
I still have several seasons of 24, Buffy, Angel, Charmed, Stargate Atlantis , CSI, etc... that have been sitting on my TiVos , sometimes for years.
I don't have time to even archive them onto DVD.

The cabinet is full of my spare unused USA TiVos which are on sale on Ebay.
