Me again!Sammy SP50LH7X upsacel query

Been toying with my Sammy Dv945 HDMI settings and found I get the best picture(IMO)using 1024x768.However,there is a one inch black border either side of the pic.Is this normal?

If its anything like 1024x768 via the PC then yes as it too adds this border. However if you edit the name of your HDMI source to be "PC" then this border disappears and the image is perfect. You could try this to see if it eliminates your border.

BTW 1024x768 is a 4:3 resolution and not a widescreen resolution and so I would think it would appear stretched if you use the 16:9 to view it. Have you noticed this?

Cheers
