strange problem with barcographics 808s tube

Ok, I have been using my BG808s for a while now, its been fine. I use a htpc to scale the image 1440 960 is the resolution I run it at. The problem is the green tube is fine in windows its had the same brightness as the rest of the tubes. When I play dvds however, the green goes very dim but once I go back to windows its brightness is the same as the others. Initially I thought it was just the specific movie I was watching, but then I realised that it was happening in all the movies. I use powerstrip and as I said the barco was fine before. I changed my monitor recently to a 22 mitsubishi, from a 19 iiyama, could this have affected it. Any feedback would be great thanks.

Turn the text "ON", on the projector and see if the projector displays a new source when you change from desk top to DVD playback.
If it does you are using a different memory block which will have all of its own setting etc including colour balance, brightness, contrast etc. which might explain the difference.
That is a fairly high resoloution for a BG808s to deal with
