Good that it appears to do away with the need for a MCE remote and the ugly IR receiver box sitting on top of you PC.
Shame it doesn't have any mouse (touchpad, nipple or joystick) control built in to make it truly living room friendly

Skunkpipe - good news....
actually it does appear to have a mouse (nipple) version on the top right....3 in 1

could be very good value....

Must say, it looks rather good. I've been looking for a wireless keyboard with a built in mouse.

Yup - spotted that about 5 mins after teh post - doh.

Also realised you will need the remote receiver if you want to use the IR blaster (unless they've come up with a cunning scheme for that as well - possibly as part of the IR receiver box - doh there's still an ugly box atop the PC :(

The BTC9116URF and 9019RUF do have built in mouse facilities

About £60 then, which is not bad at all when you think of it due to the functionaility.
Keyboard, Mouse, Remote and Wireless !
I use the microsoft wireless package at the moment and the range is not very good IMO and doesnt like it when the WIFI network connection is active either I hope this is different so I can remain on my couch :)

Folks,

For my media centre box I use a really handy little wireless keboard with built in trackball by Auravision. You can see it here: -

Item# : SN502-02
To use the mouse you hold the keyboard by the sides and use two thumbs.

I like it, and it works good. Clearly it isn’t fully integrated with Media centre, and doesn’t have all the special buttons like you get on the remote or on the new Microsoft keyboard. Nor would it be suitable for gamers, owing to the two handed action. But for the odd configuration etc like I use it for, it is perfectly adequate. Cheap too, cost me $49 U.S.
