Hey Sly. Seeing as you won't buy my stand ( ), thought I'd see if I can help!

I bought a Spectral stand for my LCD and equipment, lovely it is too. Found this picture of a 5 shelf audio stand they make, http://yellogb.net/gallery/pages/r905_jpg.htm. Model is R905.

This place has one ex-demo for sale, http://www.hificorner.co.uk/acatalog...Glasgow_6.html.

I got mine from Sevenoaks, sure they could order one in for you.

A colleague of mine has bought the Argos one and is very happy with it, although I share your initial reticence about buying furniture from Argos. Still believe it is worth considering.

I've got the AD547 in piano black & am very pleased with it

I bought mine from Video Services in Watford who we're cheapest at the time, but I cant see them listing the clear glass model your after, so might be worth giving them a call

Chris

This stand is really quite good! Although it looks slightly weak, but the bottom glass pannel is alot thicker. The glass is slightly green, and etched 'matt' on the underside . The top cap is made of silver plastic, which although looks slightly tacky, you can only see it up close, and for me, is hidden by my front right speaker.

The cable management is ok, but you have to feed power cables through the bottom up. Im not sure about scart plugs because im making up adapters and running coax's x 8 to my plasma.

over all, im really happy, but I will only say one thing...
NEVER LET YOUR FIENCEE NEAR IT WHEN DRUNK...
but on the other hand, I now have 8 shelves after replacing the whole stand and adding the remaining 3...
Regards,

Gareth.

P.s.

If/when the glass is broken, it explodes like a safety beer glass, so no big dagger like shards of glass (but fills your hoover bag quite quickly).
