Where to get a Sony DCR-HC1000?

Hi guys,

I have been thinking about getting the Sony DCR-HC1000, but have been having real trouble locating a dealer. Could somebody please advise me:

• Is it a good camcorder?
• Where can I get one?

All advise would be very welcome.

[font=Arial]This model has been discontinued for some time so you may have difficulty finding it. Ebay may be your only option - there was a new one on there a few weeks back but it was an import from Hong Kong if I remember correctly.[/font]

[font=Arial]Of course the HDR-HC1 high definition camera is due out soon, but does not have surround sound (as far as i can tell) or the rotating grip.[/font]
