Samsung DVD-VR320 region hack

Does anyone here have one of these dvd-recorders, and tried a region hack on it?

I found the following information (goes with the region 2 model):

turn on
press menu
enter 57538
the region code is displayed briefy in the top left hand corner
enter the new region code quickly or 9 for all region

If anyone has tried this or any other method, couuld you let me know if it worked. I find it seems not to keep the new region code when you turn it on next time.

Ye..I've the same problem with this model..this hack is working only until its off and I can't find anything else
