Well here’s my effort, not at all happy especially as I chose the theme.
Had some good idea’s for the subject that never came off due to one thing or the other, namely work!

Never mind, anyway on to the picture.

My dear old Ma’s 60th, her hubby Frank had bought a plain old sponge cake and had stayed up till 2 in the morning decorating it 10/10 for effort.

He then decided it also needed 60 candles on it
Unfortunately small cake + large quantity of candles ended up with 4 or 5 at a time bunched together resulting in one hell of a fire hazard, the heat was that intense that the candles melted before being burnt covering the top of the newly decorated cake in a half inch of wax

The picture seems to have suffered some under compression as well!
Oh well there is always next month

Good idea Si..... we definitely use candles as a sign of our age, but 60 .

Would have liked to see your Ma's face trying to blow that lot out
