Musical Fidelity X10-D

I have an Audiolab 8000s Amp.marantz 63SeKi CDP and Quad 11L speakers.and a friend of mine advised that the MF X10-D would impove an already good sound,has anybody any experience of this device

Does what it says on the box, have found good success with Marantz players in the past.
