Does anyone know of a switch block with variable delays

I have a problem My audio setup includes a Kef kube that when switched on at the mains sends a whacking great thump into my poweramp enough to make it blink it's overload LED, and shake potplants to pieces.

What I want is some way delaying the power amp from switching on at the same time as the Kube (All I need is a second or two's delay) I can remember to turn things on in the right order but the wife and kids...

Normally everything is turned on and off at the mains using one switch.

Does anyone know of a switch block that allows for the automatic delay on one or more sockets?
Or does anyone have any other good ideas?

There are a fair few products with variable delay on multiple 13amp Outlets - though they tend to be pretty costly as they are often also offering some form of active mains filtration and more than Two Outlets.

I wonder if a visit to the DIY Forum and a look at X-10 products might be a way to achieve what you require without spending a small fortune.

Best regards

Joe
