I was recommended Bus174 by a workmate (as he knows I like foreign reality) so I bought it, and it totally freaked me out. It totally opened my eyes to the poverty and ill feeling in Brazil.
I know the film has won numerous awards (and quite rightly so as it is amazing), but has anyone else watched it and if so, what effect did it leave on you ?

An incredible and genuinely harrowing film. Bought it on a whim, sight unseen, as I had been enjoying quite a few big-screen documentaries at the time.

A killer purchase. Wish all my impulse buys were as great as this one.

Looks interesting, may have to get this :)

On a side note, another great (fictional) examination of Brazilian poverty and crime that I'd recommend is City of God (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0317248/) :smoke:
