Ah i was thinkin that with the region 3 i just bought it but not paid for it yet. Ebay. Guy has positive feedback though and alot of it. But then i realised the region coding as 0 i know it does exist but not sure on this release.

Hi there - You're right, this isn't the right place to ask this question :) I'll move your thread to the "Movies and DVDs" forum... but I'm pretty sure that Jurassic Park Trilogy has never been released in Superbit format - what you're refering to are almost certainly pirated copies. I've only ever seen these being sold on ebay - pirated material isn't allowed to be advertised here. ;)

Yeah no worrys m8. The reason i posted was because i wanted to see if they were legit or not. I totally forgot i bid on them and when i checked my mail i realised that i had won them on such a small amount of $$$. That worried me a little so i cheked over the other stuff and that led me to post on here. So any advice would be good to see if they are real or not.

correct - it is 99% fake. They have never been released in superbit format, but to be honest the quality is really high on the standard release it is not worth you losing money by taking the risk.

I have bought 3 dvd's off e-bay which I were sure were legit -
Malena (uncut), Closer, and Phantom.
Usually if it looks to good to be true it IS.
If you are paying close to the RRP your usually ok, but it is worth an internet trawl (especially on the R3 sites) to see if in fact they have been released legit.

Although the 3 films were released by Columbia in most of the world, and Japan (R2) have released them separately as superbit titles, there is no real superbit box set anywhere. Perhaps when part 4 comes out (?)

I don't know if they are all DTS or superbit, the original Jurrasic Park was realeased on Superbit R2 NTSC DTS, It's on sale on the site for about £54.
