Do you mean SCART to 15-pin VGA input on the Plasma?

Is it for video display? AFAIK you can't connect directly but need something like the JS or Keane converter.

As Peridot points out you have a VERY odd Display if it can Input a Video signal on its 9-Pin D-Type connector - the RS232 port is used for controlling the Display from an external device its not a Video Input.

You may also have a 15-Pin D-Type 'VGA' connector on the Display and if your Display can accept Video as well as PC signals on the HD15 socket you may be able to Input a signal from a Digibox or similar.

Which Display do you have?

Best regards

Joe

'eeeeeeeeet!'

The freeveiw box has a serial port instead of a scart socket. The cable is lousy with a very bad earth connectiong.

Maybe I should have been clearer, so apologies for that.

The irony is that the freeveiw box in question (Happauge 1100DEC) fried itself anyway!
