I've been trying to see this movie since last summer, after seeing loads of posters for it when I was on holiday in Paris and having it pique my attention.
Whilst looking it up on Play USA, I noticed that it's scheduled to come out on regular, SD dvd soon-ish, but framed in 4:3. What kind of nuttiness is that?
Is "Immortel" better than "Casshern", 'cause I couldn't really say that I enjoyed that when I saw that in Sheffield recently?

Like many made by cartoon movies it has no plot, no drama, no scenario, no characthers, no story, but it has nice shoots if you're into nice colors and nice special effects.

Where did you see this? As in, at which picture house?

I didnt know what to expect when I saw this movie and I was pleasantly surprised. Yes the visuals are very good and I thought it was very clever in its approach. The story line isnt a classic but at the same time it isn't poor. I now have the HD version and the picture quality is fantastic. Its a 2 disc set with the normal SD version on 1 disc and the HD version on another.

For me it wasn't. Immortel was one of the few DVDs I have sold on after watching it. I just didn't click with the film at all.
But then again, I only watched Casshern this week and must say I wouldn't want to watch it in a hurry again. All the effects and filters they used made my head hurt :(
