Corner Mount a PWD7?
Is there a way to easily mount a panel on the wall in a corner?
I'm really keen to get a PWD7 but am concerned that reflections will spoil my viewing and the only place in my living room where reflections will be non-existent is in a corner. So, is there such a thing as a corner mount bracket, or maybe a pole mount which could be either ceiling or floor mounted. Someone must have done this in a home environment surely? Or am I missing some reason why it is impractical? |

Thanks stette, that would probably do the job, although £300! Mind you, if one wants something particular I guess it has to be paid for.
And Nick, thanks for your advice. As it happens I have a 48" CRTRP in that corner just now with a 5.1 set up and it works well. Sure my front speakers [floorstanders] are further from the screen than most instalations, but I find it gives a good wide stage and the centre sits nicely on top of the telly. However it might not look so good with a plasma there. I'm beginning to think that I might just have to put up with reflections and go and mount the plasma on the wall I originally had in mind. Blooming decisions. Why can't I be decisive. |
