Along came Polly sound problem

I've just watched Along came Polly R2 in DD5.1 and I found that the sound kept on suddenly becoming quieter and then slowly creeping up to what it was before.

I've watched 100's of movies on the DVD + AMP that I watched along came Polly on and I've never had any problems before.

I'm just checking if anyone else has had this problem or if anyone can suggest how to troubleshoot this problem?

My friend is going to watch my copy of along came Polly to see what happens.
