Electric Speaker Cable!

Guys,

A few of you around here have mentioned using normal electrical twin for speaker cable.

Stupid question but how do you connect up? Is there something clever or is it one in plus and one in minus???

I'll be using this to hook up speakers in my garden which is why I'm not interested in spending any money. I have a full reel of twin in my garage.

Thanks
Stace
