Smile Hospital Toshiba VTV1415 TV/VCR combi

My friends father is in hospital, in the ward there is one of these Toshiba VTV1415 TV/VCR combis. Guess what? Yes, the remote control is lost.
I want to find out if it is possible to force it to do an Autosetup without the remote.

There are only two channels tuned in. One of the hospital engineers recently fixed the outside ariel, so now there is brilliant reception. It seems a shame that the four patients in the ward can only view 2 channels.

Of course if someone happens to have a remote control for this unit then please send it, with a note telling them it is for the Toshiba VTV1415 TV/VCR (silver telly on the high bracket in the first room in the ward) to;

Ward Sister
Ward 6
Glasgow Royal Infirmary
84 Castle Street
Glasgow
G4 0SF

Thanks.

Exclamation

If you are able to send them a remote then don't forget to post a note here, just in case they are inundated with remote controls!

Question Cheap and Nasty

I guess no one in these forums would buy a combi. Nor would I!
