SD cards, different makes same card?

Hi,

I have just received a Viking 512mb High Speed SD card from Ebuyer, for the very reasonable sum of £24 delivered. My other card is a Kingston 256mb Elite Pro High Speed.
I have just compared the two cards and are covinced it is the same card, apart from being twice the capacityobviously. Even the writing printed on the cards is the same, apart from the different serial and size numbers.
I wonder how many other cards are the same but with just different makers stickers on them.

Cheers

Dougan.

There are only a few makers of SD cards. Most generic ones are made by SanDisk, which have been known to cause problems with Palms, but not cameras.
Stick to a known brand with a good return policy and you can't really go wrong.
Memory is so cheap these days even compared with a couple of years ago that buying cheap is not really worth it.
