Recommend a DSLR photography book

As per the title....something that covers comprehensively photo editing (stuff like unsharp mask, layers etc) using the camera in lots of different situations (landscape, low light, portrait etc), cleaning the sensor....I guess the A-Z of DSLR use, written by a real pro and hopefully full of glossy pictures.

Ta
Pete.

I think the best way to do it and it's going to cost more, is to get a book realating to each subject. Other wise you'll end up with jack of all trades ect

Been looking for a book to help me use my 350d. Don't want to concentrate on one particular field yet, but want to learn basic techniques like composition.

I saw the "Digital Photography Handbook" by Tony Ang which is half price in Waterstones and seems like a good buy. Seems to have good reviews on Amazon

There's are also a couple of guides to the 350d on Amazon too which I guess will be more specific in controls and settings. According to the reviewers of each one, they tell you more about the camera than the manual itself.

Anybody read these books, and recommend them?
