lexar CF proffessional card problem

aparently there appears to be a problem with canon SLR's and lexar proffessional cards

i havent suffered any problems but im going to return my card anyway, just to be on the safe side, but im going to phone lexar tomorrow to enquire about whether they think that if ive not experienced any problems that i should return the card anyway. also i want to find out the turnaround time on returns so im not short of a card if i need one.

Seems doesn't apply to all cards ... for instance my 1G b 80x which has a different checksum number to those shown There is an RMA form you can enter the last 4 digits in (on the side of the card) to check if you need to update.

Jamie, also be good if you could post the results of your phone call tho' as it would assist others

I'm I right in thinking all the cameras listed all have the Digic 2 chip. There's no mention of the 10D, 300D ect.
