what dvd player for sanyo z3?

what dvd players are people here using for their z3? is an upconversion player worth it?

I am considering the oppo and the toshiba 5980. any views on those?

No Idea about those players, but I use the samsung hd850 via hdmi and upscaled to 720p with very good results.
The picture is excellent but the player has very shoddy firmware and is not very user friendly.
But for £90 you can't really grumble.
