will the mac mini play wmv hd discs
does anyone know if the mac mini will play wmv hd discs so i can connect
it up to my plasma when i get one

Does'nt play the Apple HD clips too well but I only have the 256MB 1.25ghz version. A case of buy and try

I've got the faster Mac Mini with 512MB and that can't play H.264 high def clips without dropping frames and skipping, not even the 720P ones. The Apple QuickTime site says that only G5 Macs can play HD.

Then again, QuickTime 7 (H2.64) can't do it on my AMD64 4000+ either.

Microsoft says
That it should http://www.microsoft.com/windows/win...x/default.aspx play WMV v9 video; doesn't mention HD specifically though.

(Wonders if one should test it out )
