Wall/Ceiling brackets for DENON 500SD Speakers
Can anyone tell we what are the best speaker brackets to use on the DENON 500SD speakers so that I can either wall or ceiling mount them?
Thanks for your help?

Im thinking of drilling a couple of 4mm holes in the back and threading them so i can use most wall brackets. If you take a speaker apart you can see where to make holes.I have looked everywere for wall brackets to fit underneath but cant find any

I emailed Denon not that long ago and got an unusually helpful reply: their recommendation was to buy the AVF Vector's (Home Cinema Speaker Mounts for wall or ceilings). See www.avf.co.uk product P6199SP. They fit the rear screw mount on the underside of the Denon speaker; the wires you'll have to work out for yourself.

brackets for Denon
I asked my Denon-dealer in the Netherlands, whitch brackets to use for the denon-speakers that come with the Denon DHT-500SD.
They use the stands and brackets from Omnimount.
http://www.digitallyunique.com/omnab2hts.html
I ordered them , but didn't receive them yet.

does anyone know of any that are bottom mounted (screw holes on the bottom of my speakers) that i might be able to adapt a bit?

Hi,
I've just dug my Denon stuff out after a house move and am having the same problem you have had finding wall or ceiling mounts for them.
Did you have any luck tracking some down?

Re: Wall/Ceiling brackets for DENON 500SD Speakers
Bonza.
Duly ordered.
Thank you very much indeed.
I don't get on here much to be honest, but whenever I have an AV related issue and ask a question, some kind soul always takes the time to help me out.
It really honestly does restore my faith in human kindness.
Maybe one day I will be clued up enough to return the favour!
You could always ask me one about trees, cos I know a little bit about them.
Thanks again...

Re: Wall/Ceiling brackets for DENON 500SD Speakers
I will have to get these too, saw them at B&Q today and they looked like alloy brackets
also wasn't sure if you could bend them down to fit under the speaker to screw on the hole underneth.
do you use the front or back screw hole?

Re: Wall/Ceiling brackets for DENON 500SD Speakers
bought some today and fitted them.
not the easiest thing to screw onto the wall, as the rubber washer turns if it's not tight enough. So your bracket doesn't then tigten up on the fitting making your speaker hang lower. i hope i have it secure enough (plaster board with brick wall about 2" behind it)
what you think?
I turned the speaker upside doen and then turned teh front mess cove over to then be the correct way round.

Re: Wall/Ceiling brackets for DENON 500SD Speakers
should be ok mine tend to move slight over the course of the year. mine are mounted to plaster board with brick about 3/4 inch behind ( dot and dab) and have been fine, for the 2 years they been up.
