Any good deals on Tag McLaren AV32Rs?

In the market for an AV32R at the moment, which will run through a Rotel power amp.

The best price I've seen so far is a whisker under 2k. I'm quite happy to consider ex-dem or even second-hand, so if anyone's seen any bargains - I'd be ever so grateful if you could let me know!!

Tag are doing a special demo evening at the SevenOaks, Liverpool branch on the 20th September, and representatives from Tag will be there. (maybe DR Zucker!)

So it might be worth your while getting down there, as they might do a special deal on the day!

It's also free to get in, but ticket only! (check the Tag web site for details!)

Might be worth a look.

On HCC's own classified section, there's one for sale, with the THX EX and Pro-logic upgrades going for £1750. If I had the readies, I'd have it by now!!!

Just make sure any second-hand item you consider buying isn't nicked! I twice tried to buy a DVD32R second hand, and each time the vendors ran a mile when I asked them for the serial number.

Tag maintain a database of nicked stuff, and they will, quite rightly, confiscate anything nicked that comes back to them for repair.

Graham, I have checked tag's web site but can't find any mention of this. I would be grateful if you could point me in the right direction.
