Question Vga - widescreen (hééélp)

Today I tried to connect my laptop to my plasma-tv (over the vga port). The problem is that the image that appears on the TV is streched horizontally. I tried to change the settings on my laptop, but didn't find a suitable solution. I suppose I need a special driver or something alike.

My laptop is a Compaq Armada E500 with an ATI Rage P/M Mobility 2X graphic card.

Try changing your screen resolution to a widescreen one, such as 1024 x 576 or 1280 x 720.
