want power up

just replaced disk drive but cant get the red button on front of sky box to power up and go green put old disk drive back in but still wont power up any ideas

I assume you waited a couple of minutes after putting the power plug in ? It won't switch on immediately.

So you have no red leight or green light?

If you have a red light u need to wait a few mins for the Sky+ box to set up the tables on the disk.
