HCPC to AE700 I need help

I have a new AE700 with 1.3 firmware (not very happy about that as I purchased it from a forum sponsor). I’m using a 10m Bettercables DVI to HDMI cable but can’t get the hcpc to stick to the required 1280/720. It switches back to 848/480 after the screen saver comes up and is later interrupted. Showing a portion of the desktop image, as the full screen.

Then you can’t switch back without unplugging the cable and rebooting the PC.

I have an ATI sapphire 9200 fan less graphics card. I use Rage tweek3d to achieve custom resolutions, xlobby and Theatretek.

I have updated to the latest ATI graphics driver.

Can someone tell me how they got there 700 and hcpc to talk to each other over DVI/HDMI.
