EBU recommends 720p and 1080 p

EBU recommends the progressive formats (very good ! ):

There will be some problems with bandwidth in the production chain, but 1080p is futureproof and standards should leave some room for the necessary improvement. After all, what we all want is 1080 p. Just get away from this old-fashioned compression tool called interlacing.
