Have wall mounted my new 42" 500, can't help thinking it just doesn't look right at the bottom (where the plasma would sit on the cabinet). I have mounted just above a fireplace so it is noticable, may have to drop the set by a few inches to hide it!! Anyone else agree?
Also have hooked up the plasma to the DVD player by component, however it only plays in black and white, I have checked all the cables are in the right colours and securely in which they are, what could be the problem? (have checked using Scart and it plays fine) Thanks. |

I too am looking to put whatever plasma I get on the wall, I am going towards the Pioneer also because of the additional media box meaning only 2 wires to be chased in the wall as opposed to making sure you have a cable for each socket in the back of the plasma just in case you want to add another bit of kit or else you have to chase the wall again. Also, is the picture that much better on the panny 500 series ?

Personally I like the look of the 500 series, but have always thought that flat panels with speakers/extras at the bottom look better on table stands then those with wing speakers and vice versa when it comes to wall mounting.
