problems

Two days ago I upgraded Amstrad sky+ box with maxtor (diamond max 9)120GB (7200 rpm)hard drive. Since then problems are as follows:
1. Loud clicking when recording and playing back
2. Playing back live pause. Random audio drop out
3. Everything I had recorded would not playback
4. Live pause didn't work, had to do full system reset, seems ok for now.
Will probably put old drive back in but seems a shame to lose all that extra space I'd gained. Anyone else encountered these problems? Somebody help me please

Unfortunately Amstrad boxes are a little bit more "picky" than Pace when it comes to suitable drives. Did you research which drives would work with the Amstrad, or did you just order a big drive ? I don't recall having seen this drive used in Amstrad's before - the favourite seems to be the Samsung 160GB drive. You can always put the 250GB drive in your PC.
