Sony NW-HD3 and Podcasting

Since Radio 4 (my station of preference) has started experimenting with Podcasting, I have been trying to use it. It seems excellent (although the range of programmes is too limited) but can anyone advise me. It seems that, if I had an Apple IPod, the subscribed stations would automatically be put on my digital player when a new programme was available by iPodder without me intervening. However, since I have a Sony Player, it seems that I need to import the tracks into Soundstage 3.1 and then load them into the player manually. Is this the case, or am I missing something obvious?

Regards, Roger
