Arcam FMJ CD23 - which transport?

Which Sony transport does the CD23 use? I think the CD23T uses a Sony BD25 transport, could this be fitted in the standard CD23?

I'm not sure about the transport, but the laser unit is the Sony KSS-240A - the same as is used in the alphas 7, 8 and 9 and dozens of other CDPs.

Re: Arcam FMJ CD23 - which transport?

Hello,

Two and half years later and I have encountered the same problem. My FMJ CD23 transport is starting to go. How do I find a replacement transport?

Re: Arcam FMJ CD23 - which transport?

Did you ever find a source for those transports?

I've got a similar problem with my CD82T - I think the transport in that is CDM-14 BD25.

I've not been able to find a replacement anywhere.

I have replaced the laser KSS213B but that did not solve the issue. The lasaer never moves along its rails and CDs are not read.

Thanks anyway!
